Utilising modern technology such as VDSL, Ethernet extenders are used to ‘reanimate’ cabling for Ethernet transmission where cables have already been laid but can no longer be usefully deployed (e.g. coaxial cable or twin-core phone cable). No structural alterations are needed – nor does new cable need to be laid. Particularly in the case of hard-to-reach transmission lines, this enables huge savings to be made – often involving decades-old cable bundles and across considerable distances. Our Ethernet extenders can be precisely matched to requirements to ensure the optimum utilisation of existing cable resources.
Note that Ethernet extenders are always deployed in pairs.
