For the first time, this year the Lacon Group took part in the practical days, a cooperation project of thirteen participating universities in Bavaria and companies. On 05 March the invited students received integrated support from 09:00 to 16:00 in the company’s headquarters in Karlsfeld. They were first given an in-depth introduction to the company by the director responsible for personnel, Dr Andree Metzger (CFO), and the heads of selected technical departments. They were then introduced to the EMS service provider's production facilities and were able to find out more in conversations with employees from technical departments during a joint lunch.
"The tour and the projects of the employees in the hardware development department were my personal highlights” said one student at the end of the day.
In the afternoon the departments matching the study focus of each individual guest provided one-on-one support. Lacon thanks the students for a successful day and is certain that it will see some of them again in the near future in one form of cooperation or another!
