Eight students from different parts of Bavaria, for example, from Landshut or even Rosenheim, arrived at Lacon in Karlsfeld on 13 February 2019, to find out more about one of the top 20 EMS service providers in Germany.The students differed with regard to their universities and year of study, but they were all inherently enthusiastic about engineering and diversity. Therefore, at a small breakfast gathering, the CFO and person responsible for personnel, Dr Andree Metzger, introduced the development and production service provider and gave the students initial insights into all kinds of different customer projects.During the following tour through the production buildings the participants gained an initial idea of what it means to be able to service the entire value chain.During the afternoon the students were then finally able to get practical themselves and were supported in person and comprehensively by technical heads of department.Lacon and all employees involved really enjoyed the practical day and look forward very positively to seeing one or the other of the participants again.
