"True success never depends on an individual!" The employees at Lacon’s production site in the Romanian town of Galați quickly realise that their new plant manager is a real team player and sees each individual as an important part for the company’s overall success. In his introductory talk, the Romanian Teodor Bucur, who also speaks excellent German, primarily addresses the understanding of current business processes, meeting challenges openly and the values of his new team. The former head of department with global management function at a renowned connector manufacturer therefore concentrates more on attentive listening and transparent communication than on his own successes and trusts in his experiences to date. Teodor Bucur already had multicultural interests as a student, and acquired experience abroad early through various work and travel trips. As a passionate Formula 1 fan, he visited races several times a year. His co-workers at the company’s head office in Karlsfeld have been working daily with the Romanian production and backoffice for more than ten years. Together, in particular, they have managed to achieve large wire harness and box-build volumes to German quality standards and at Romanian factor costs and they are to meet complex customer requirements at short notice. Mr Bucur intends to grow even more in the coming years and would like to at least double his personnel. The entire workforce in Karlsfeld is pleased about the competent growth and looks forward to successful work with Teodor Tucur and his team!
