Lacon Electronic has recently installed a next-generation SCS Precisioncoat spray and dispense production system. A 5 axes system is used to process coatings (using a principle similar to the Venturi effect) as well as low- and high-viscosity materials with dispensers at accuracies of +/-25 μm.
Coating, overmoulding and potting of electronics satisfies increasingly demanding requirements in terms of long-term stability and functional reliability. A hot melt system for full encapsulation of any kind of components ensures all needs are met. You can see the SCS Precisioncoat in action at our main Lacon Electronic factory!
The next Lacon Technology Day is Thursday, 18 June, and this year's event will be held in the Olympic Hall's VIP area.
Alongside recent developments from the electronics industry, the Day will also feature a factory tour of our SMT, THT and Conformal Coating production lines.
