Controllable & additional output
The CAN bus system, which is fully configurable by the user, allows all parameters to be set and all measured values and status messages to be queried. An additional 24VDC output with 150W power can be used to supply connected control units, fans or sensors.
Recuperation & charging function
The bidirectionality of the DC/DC converter allows energy flows to flow in two directions within the application. This means that energy can be fed back into the energy storage system during so-called recuperation due to braking or discharging processes, for example, which increases the efficiency of the application. Thanks to the controllable current-limited charging function of the converter, various battery storage systems or supercap modules can be charged and discharged optimally.
A low-voltage direct current converter, also known as LV DC-DC converter, is a device used to convert direct current (DC) with a low voltage into another DC voltage with a different voltage level. This converter enables the adaptation and integration of electrical systems with different voltage requirements, which is important in various applications and industries.
The LV DC-DC converters from Querom Elektronik go beyond conventional standards and offer outstanding advantages:
- Optimum energy conversion: With a very high level of efficiency, they support demanding charging and discharging processes of supercapacitors, electrolysis for hydrogen production and the supply from hydrogen fuel cells.
- Efficient energy utilization: Their bidirectional energy flow not only allows energy to be fed into the system, but also surplus energy to be returned, which significantly improves overall efficiency.
- Precise voltage regulation: Digital control loops and a contact cooling design ensure precise voltage regulation and efficient cooling, even under demanding conditions.
- Comprehensive protection: The converters offer reliable protection against short circuits, open circuits and overtemperature to ensure the safety of the system.
The Querom LV DC-DC converters are the solution for efficient and reliable energy conversion in energy-intensive applications.
Supercapacitors, also known as ultracapacitors or supercaps, are electrical storage devices that store electrical energy in an electrostatic field. Compared to conventional capacitors, supercapacitors offer a much higher energy density. They can essentially store large amounts of electrical charge and have a high power density, which means they can absorb and release energy very quickly. Supercapacitors are often used in applications that require rapid energy storage and release, such as electric vehicles, renewable energy systems and other high-power applications.
