Reliability against vibrations and high temperature fluctuations were further specifications that Lacon implemented in a series solution for the project in a short time thanks to its many years of experience.

Powerful battery technology meets reliable mechanics in a project in which the wiring harness and plug connections, circuit board and operating unit were specially developed and manufactured by Lacon to meet the required reliability against high temperature fluctuations and strong vibrations as well as safe operation even in midday sun and darkness - and all this with demanding space and weight requirements.

When irradiating patients, the ability to precisely align the irradiation table is crucial for the success of radiotherapy. In the project developed and manufactured by Lacon, the control system, actuators for precise positioning and sensors for feedback and control work together in an integrated manner to ensure the precise alignment of the radiation table.

Together with a partner, Lacon developed a flushing system that meets the hygiene requirements in human medicine. From the controls, actuators and sensors to the cabling of the entire system, a complete system was designed that meets international safety requirements. In view of the harsh environmental factors, the firmware and hardware for signal processing, for example, were specially developed and designed with redundancy.

A security system that is linked to the telephone network and triggers an action reliably and in real time at the touch of a button was the order placed with Lacon. From the electronics to the membrane keypad to the hardware, Lacon contributed its experience to the project and manufactured a product that, for example, dials an emergency number, sends a message, evacuates parts of a building or locks doors at the touch of a button - depending on what the user wants.

Cognitive psychology didactic systems
Golfers always need a clear view of the ball and the terrain when playing. For this order, Lacon developed and manufactured special golf glasses that are able to translate cognitive-psychological findings into technical sophistication. Lacon combined sensors for measuring light, adaptive lens control and actuators for darkening in such a way that the glasses stimulate a maximum training effect for ball control and hand-arm-body coordination.
