Due to the legal change with regard to charging stations that are used commercially, they are now subject to the measurement and calibration law in accordance with EU Directive 2014/94/EU. As a result, the focus is increasingly shifting to the production of such charging stations. In order to be able to produce these calibration law-compliant charging stations for our customers, the production facility must undergo Module D certification by a qualified body.
Solution
In close cooperation with our customers and the certification bodies VDE and NMi, we have now been certified for three customers.
Our internal quality management system fulfils the requirements of Module D, which means that certification for further customers is no problem. Thanks to our in-depth expertise in the field of e-mobility and charging stations, we can provide our customers with support in all matters relating to electromobility.
For our customer Qwello, we implemented the entire production process, the supply chain management and the delivery to the building contractor: PCB and display production, pre-assembly and final assembly as well as end-of-life testing (EOL). Development, design.
Certification and delivery made by Lacon.
