Karlsfeld. The Lacon Group is involved in the Romanian city of Galati in the supply and technical support of the arriving people from Ukraine. The Romanian subsidiary Lacon SRL produces cable assemblies for the European capital goods industry at its plant there. Galati is located about 10 km from the Ukrainian border and hundreds of refugees arrive every day.
CEO Dr. Ralf Hasler privately finances the aid deliveries. His team coordinates the procurement and distribution of the goods as well as the transport as a provision in the regular transports between Munich and Galati.
