Our management system is certified. Whether comprehensive production and testing expertise, or as a trustworthy partner for all kinds of different industries: Lacon is aware of its responsibility and therefore always keeps its own quality standards up-to-date and on the highest level.
We give our customers a good feeling of safety and peace of mind.
In addition to the standard industry certifications, as an original design manufacturer, we also hold many special certificates. These enable us to handle special wishes from sophisticated industries highly professionally and with exceptionally high safety standards.
We are a long-standing approved supplier for railway technology and also produce to production classes IPC-A-610 as well as IPC-B-620 Class 2 and 3. Our cable manufacturing are UL certified .
We naturally comply with the EU RoHS-2 2011/65/EU and RoHS-3 2015/863/EU directives. We also fulfil all requirements set within the context of the REACH declaration of conformity.
In addition, in 2012, Lacon met the requirements of the US Securities and Exchange Commission and informed our customers promptly about our rejection of the use of conflict minerals (Conflict Minerals Disclosure).
Management system certificates
Lacon has been certified to the TÜV AUSTRIA CERT procedure for the management system to EN ISO 9001:2015. Lacon thus fulfils the general requirements of its quality management system. The EMS service provider is at all times aware of its responsibility and regularly monitors, measures, analyses data and improves its own management system.
Lacon orientates its production processes to the worldwide recognised environmental management system requirements. Certified to the TÜV AUSTRIA CERT procedure for the management system to EN ISO 14001:2015, Lacon develops and realises continuous improvement processes to achieve the specified environmental objectives and targets. To this end, processes are planned, implemented, monitored controlled and optimised, to enable us to achieve the objectives and targets defined at the outset.

Medical engineering certification
Lacon stands for medical device safety to EN ISO 13485 in medical engineering. The original design manufacturer the fulfils the product requirements by ensuring the effectiveness of the processes introduced: Specific guidelines as management responsibility; quality system regulation 21 CFR 820 (QSR) for medical devices sold in the USA; working environment controls, risk management in product (device) development; inspection and traceability for implantable devices; documentation and validation of the processes for sterile medical devices; requirements for the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions
Certification of AEO authorisation
Lacon has been issued approved economic operator (AEO) status by Landshut central customs office. Successful AEO certification DE AEO-F 122206, in which particular focus is placed on the internal control system, data security as well as compliance with legal and security regulations, is an internationally recognised quality seal for supply chain processes. With it, Lacon is classified as a particularly trustworthy and reliable supplier within the scope of international trade in goods.
Welding certification level CL4
DVS ZERT GmbH has certified that Lacon has demonstrated that it fulfils the requirements for the welding of rail vehicles and components for the scope of EN 15085-2 certification class CL4 for the application areas given in the following: purchasing and assembly, purchasing and reselling, not design.
Certification to ATEX Product Directive 2014/34/EU
Lacon gives its employees, production environments, materials and products reliable protection and safety from explosions due to flammable substances. As an expert for explosion protection, TÜV SÜD applies complex test methods. One of the most important and renowned test systems is ATEX. Lacon is certified to the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and thus assures its customers the use of equipment and protection systems in potentially explosive atmospheres.
