Long-standing supplier of railroad technology
As a supplier to Deutsche Bahn, Lacon Electronic is classified as quality capability Q1 by the quality assurance department "Procurement of rail vehicles and rail vehicle parts". This is why Lacon has been an approved supplier for railroad technology for many years. We also produce in accordance with manufacturing classes IPC-A-610 and IPC-B-620 class 2 and class 3.
IPC-A-610 is the world's most widely used acceptance guideline for electronics assembly, IPC-B-620 is the guideline for requirements and acceptance criteria for cable and wire harness assemblies.
Our cable assembly is also UL-certified: UL certification is the most important standard for machines, systems, parts and components, especially on the North American market.
The RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU regulates the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. We naturally comply with the current RoHS-2 2011/65/EU and RoHS-3 2015/863/EU directives. Lacon Electronic also fulfills all requirements in connection with the REACH Declaration of Conformity.
Medical technology certification
Lacon stands for product safety in medical technology in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13485. The original design manufacturer (ODM) thus fulfills the requirements for the product by ensuring the effectiveness of the processes introduced: Specific guidelines as management responsibility; Quality System Regulation 21 CFR 820 (QSR) for medical devices sold in the USA; Work environment controls; Risk management in product development; Inspection and traceability for implantable devices; Documentation and validation of processes for sterile medical devices; Requirements for the effectiveness of "Corrective" and "Preventive" Actions.
Certification according to ATEX 2014/34/EU
Lacon bears responsibility towards employees, production environments, materials and products for reliable protection against explosions caused by flammable substances.
Since 2003, only devices, components and protective systems that comply with ATEX-Produktrichtlinie (the ATEX product directive) may be placed on the market for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Lacon is certified in accordance with the updated ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and is therefore permitted to manufacture devices and components for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
AEO certification
Lacon Electronic has been granted the status of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) by the main customs office in Landshut.
Successful AEO certification DE AEO-F 122206, which focuses in particular on the internal control system, data security and compliance with legal and security regulations, is regarded internationally as a seal of quality for supply chain processes. Defense equipment standards
Lacon Electronic is one of only 30 VG-certified cable assemblers in the whole of Germany. Defense equipment standards (VG standards) are defense technology standards that have the same status as DIN standards. They contain technical and technical-economic requirements for articles and procedures in the defense sector. Approved in accordance with VG 95211 by the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support, ready-made electrical cables and wires for defense technology can be produced and sold.
